Vintage Book Box Online Class - revisited!

Recently I was having a look at my past online classes to see what had been most popular and I was surprised that one of my favourite designs ever hadn't had much love. 

I wondered why and looking on my class list I found one reason - after one post I never shared it again. It was missed off the class list online and the video for it was unlisted! Oh my goodness! Why was this - well this class went out in March 2020 when the world went mad! My newsletters and videos were more about sharing ideas for keeping our in-person businesses going during lockdown. 

Anyway - fast forward to July 2023 and I decided to give my Vintage Book Box Online Class a make-over. While you could make these pretty and useful storage or gift boxes in any DSP - they were calling out to be made in the Earthen Elegance DSP.

Let's Go Shopping Masterclass

As soon as I saw the Les Shoppes suite including the Let's Go Shopping bundle I could see this could be a fun class. 

When I started using the dies and stamps, I realised there is actually a lot to share here with lots and lots of hints and tips for getting the best from the bundle. 

Now this is a class and a half - I wouldn't suggest you teach all these projects in one go unless you are running a retreat - but they make a great display and you could definitely pick your favourites to teach in a special class.

June Class Projects & Scenic Wonders Technique Video

It seems like only a moment ago I was sharing my May class projects, (OK I was a bit late with those!), and now I am back again with the June offering. 

We focussed on creating some 'masculine' type cards as opposed to the flowering ones I seem to have been addicted to recently! 

We used the Earthen textures stamps, dies and DSP to make the first card. My lovely ladies could choose to make it a birthday or thank you card in class. The second project used Scenic Wonders - more on that in a moment - and the third was a cute card for any book-lover made with the Birds Eye View stamps.

How do you get on with the distINKtive stamps - like those in the Scenic Wonders stamp set? I have had a bit of a love-hate relationship with them in the past - but I think I have found a way for anyone to love them.

May Class Projects

Well with all the flurry of new catalogue launch, I almost forgot to share my May class projects with you...! 

They feature the all new goodies with a simple fancy fold and two other fun cards. 

For the first we used the Lazy Days stamps - the middle one we did a layered Cheerful Daisies card and the last if our fantastic Crafting with You bundle.

My launch event / thank you party day - NEW Catalogue 2023 - Colour Refresh & More

Well it was a busy few weeks getting ready - but my first all-day Elizabeth's Craft Room Retreat went down a storm with my lovely ladies!  Apologies for the photo and video heavy post here.

We did launch party activities in the morning where I talked through the colour refresh, shared some of my favourite new products and offered my customers the chance to partake of my launch promotion 'Liz's Lovely Launch Loot. 

If you haven't heard of this before, it is a way of me clearing out my retired, pre-loved Stampin' Up! goodies and my ladies getting free items to take home when they order. I run it like Sale-A-Bration so they pick one retired stamp set for a £45 order or a bundle or two stamp sets for £90.

I always get questions about my display stands. I made them myself using old fashion metal laundry airers and foam board. Unlike commercial velcro boards they are light and I can easily get my cards lined up straight - which makes my brain happy! LOL 

For my ladies the most ordered item was the Crafting with You bundle, second was the Cheerful Daisies bundle and third and fourth respectively were the Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly ink pads.  

Here are some of my favourite display projects - feel free to CASE (copy and share everything!) 

After a lovely lunch. we made 5 little projects including a reverse colouring Cheerful Daisies card and a new colour sampler. Just for information while almost all my ladies made the other projects only about half made the colour sampler. It is always interesting to note what is popular isn't it? 

Finally another popular stand was the sign up for my latest fancy folds class featuring the Countryside Inn DSP and 10 fun fold cards. I had so many sign up, I am going to need to squeeze 3 extra tables in my teaching room!
