Ever since I saw it, I knew I wanted to teach a class with the Boho Indigo goodies...and then came COVID!  We are back in lockdown here in the UK and we can't stamp together - but I couldn't wait any longer - I had to figure a way to teach this by post! 

Whether your are able to gather together or you need a class you can teach by post, this is the class for you. The class by post uses half the refill kit and relys on punches and dies - but of course you can use the whole bundle if you can gather. 

Well I say class - but I am calling this a mega-class!  Although I did teach this class all in one go, it would work for an all day event or could be split into two months worth of projects. We are making two gift boxes and 15 cards in total - and my lovely ladies have adored creating it.

Fancy Fold Library Class - Part 4

Well I know most of us love a fancy fold card - and this is a class that has 10 of them! Although the actual designs are done using the Sweetest Time bundle from the 2020 mini - these folds could be used at any time by switching out the stamps and designer paper. 

My customers know these classes as "Cards that make you say oooh" and they really do!

Curvy Celebrations and LIVE on Facebook!

Eeeek! What a week! 

Well I took the bull by the horns and went LIVE on Facebook in the real world. I have of course been doing this every week since March - but this time in was on my Elizabeth's Craft Room Facebook page rather than in the safety of my private customer group. 

I won't lie - I was nervous, but once I got started - and some of you lovely demo friends showed up and said hello in the comments, I felt at home. 

I have done two lives now, (I am doing them every Tuesday at 2pm UK time to keep consistent), so I thought I would pop a link on here so you can take a peek if you like :)

Snowflake Splendour - NEW Online Class

So is it spelt splendour or splendor where you live?  Somehow the wrong spelling for us slipped through proof reading in the UK catalogue - but we don't mind - that bundle is beautiful.

Celebrating YOU & Tips for sharing the Little Treats Bundle

Welcome to Ready Set Demo 

I hope you are all keeping safe and well and managing to run your business whatever the COVID situation is where you are in the world.

I had rather a lovely surprise on Saturday night. I was attending the Online Leadership event run by Stampin' Up! - and to my amazement I had my story told by Ken, one of the Stampin' Up! corporate team. He shared how I had turned my totally face to face business around and exceeded my best ever quarter sales twice. He also explained how my team and lovely customers had donated cards and postage stamps to our local hospital staff to help them keep in touch with their families during the worst of the pandemic here. I was blown away!

Now I want to turn that compliment over to you - because if you have had to learn new ways to share and connect during this weird year - you deserve that same recognition. You are awesome! 

At the time of writing, I am half way through my Mini Launch Week - showing off some of the beautiful suites, bundles and other goodies from our Aug-Dec catalogue. If it is as successful as my main launch back in May/June I will be delighted. Birds & Branches / Free as a Bird Online Class - Teach by Post or in person

This post and class was originally shared during 2020 full lockdown - but of course now you can also teach it in person :) 

Today I am sharing another online class for you, suitable to be a class by post and I hope it will be helpful to you at this time.

Whether your customers are internet savvy or completely offline - you can teach this using the materials I am providing in this class. It features a pretty bird box with a hinge lid that stores up to 12 3X3 notecards and envelopes! 

You can teach it right now using the Free as a Bird Stamp Set or you can order today and get ready to teach it in June using the fabulous Birds & Branches stamp set- available on pre-order. Now you know I can't show you that one as I type (it is May 9th) - but you can find it on page 120 of the new catalogue.

I included the Free as a Bird stamps - but with Birds & Branches you can also offer an option for your customers to upgrade to the bundle price to include the dies! 

Once again there are options with the cards. I am teaching this class by post right now using the retiring Best Dressed 3X3 cards – my customers are getting 12 cards and envelopes in their kits. But below you can see an option you can offer with plain white 3X3 cards and the 3 1/8" square envelopes that are carry over. 

The bird box looks beautiful and you can choose from a range of embossing folder options and colours to suit your customers. My class by post has been super popular with my lovely class ladies, currently all locked down at home.

My next steps - keeping our Stampin' Up! businesses going during lockdown

Welcome to Ready Set Demo.  Well this is a very difficult time for so many of us with worries we could never have envisaged a short time ago.  I am trying my best to keep my business going without the face to face classes that are the core of Elizabeth's Craft Room. If you have a mostly or wholly online business, this video is probably not going to be helpful to you - this is for those, like me, who are having to re-invent themselves fast to get through this. I have put this video together to describe the practical steps I have taken so far. This was filmed 2 days ago - things have been a bit crazy here - but since then I have the following updates.  The UK has experienced a further lock down but right now mailing classes for a business purpose is still allowed. I will continue to check daily and we will of course comply fully with any further rules. So far 80% of my class customers have signed up for postal classes and many want with-product classes too. I am humbled and grateful to them all. Our warehouse and UPS /DHL are still operating more or less normally observing required distancing but I hear there are some places in France where they may not deliver. I hope the video will help you take the next steps and I will be back as soon as I can with more practical ideas for you. In the meantime this is the link for currently available classes - as I mentioned I will be turning to my technique classes and fancy folds for the basis of my postal classes. Keeping your Stampin' Up! business going during lockdown

This was not the free share I was planning to offer you today...our finding new local customers video and resources will be coming to you later in the year.

For now I wanted to reach out to all of you, send you love, and outline some practical things I have coming up for you. 

Oh and you are allowed to laugh at the still YouTube picked - yes the ideas are all in here LOL! 

Extra update: 

Since filming this video (Monday afternoon), the UK has gone into partial lockdown. I am in the at risk group, (lung damage), so I am hunkering down. Schools are closing tomorrow and we expect to be in full lockdown at the weekend.

I know things are moving at a different rate in different parts of the world, but rest assured, my friends in Austria and Spain confirm food stores and pharmacies are open and well stocked, the postal service is still working - so we can do classes by mail, the internet has not fallen over with people working from home....and if you didn't see, all our factories in China are now open and travel restrictions are being lifted - so take heart and know this is not forever.

I will finish by saying that I have had the most heart warming response from my lovely class ladies - happy tears flowed - and Elizabeth's Craft Room WILL get through as we all will together.

Vintage Book Box - Online Class

Do you sometimes design something and think Wow! I LOVE that! Well that was me when I designed this new online class. They look like books - but they are storage boxes. Yay! Anyone here not like storage? :D 

I am calling it my Vintage Book Box class and it includes three sizes of storage or gift boxes that look like books. 

You can fit so much in these boxes; blends and markers (stored flat of course), ribbon and bling, adhesive and tools and each size fits our standard cards and envelopes, notecards or 3X3 cards too.  See more about this class in the video at the bottom of this post. 

Whether you are creating for yourself or teaching a class - these videos and instructions will save you time and effort as all the working out is done for you. I am even including an ordering list and pricing ideas as well as all the usual measurements and photos (non-logo so you can use in your class advertising).
