FREE project video & printables for you featuring the Tropical Leaf bundle from Stampin' Up!

For my Ready, Set Demo subscribers, I thought I would pop in with a FREE video tutorial and FREE printables for you. I also thought I would share a few project ideas featuring the Tropical Leaf bundle. At the time of typing it is still available worldwide but scroll down for more advice about dealing with online exclusive sell outs.

I originally designed a version of this project back in 2020 and we made it in class using the Daffodil Daydream. One of my demo friends, (Hi Becky!),  asked if I had the measurements and a hunt about led me to them. It seemed a good seasonal project, (for the northern hemisphere spring), and also good for filling with mini Easter eggs, so I thought I would re-make it as a way to display the Tropical Leaf goodies - and share it with all of you. (You can see the original at the end of this post).

You can watch the video HERE......

If you would like the exclusive FREE printables and are already signed up to my newsletter - check your inbox! The link is there for you.

If you are not yet subscribed to the newsletter, email me and say Garden Trug and I will add you to my list and send the measurements over.

The printables are editable and logo free, printable on A4 and US letter versions and all measurements in inches.

More inspiration!

I made some more sample projects to show my lovely ladies  featuring both the Tropical Leaf goodies and the upcoming returning Pretty Peacock colour too. The first is a simple design. I stamped tone on tone with the Peacock ink and card stock, (found in another craft room hunt!)

The second project uses Paradise Palms and uses the leaves to frame the scene. I made sure the ink pads were not over-inked to ensure I got good impression with the solid stamps.

The final card layers Heavenly Hollyhocks over the leaves. I used the marker to stamp technique for the flowers and fussy cut them out.

If you need the product printable I created for Tropical Leaf, it is included in the bundle of Online Exclusive printables HERE.

Oh and I almost forgot....here is my original 2020 version featuring Daffodil Daydream.

March Class Projects & Product Inspiration

This month in class we made three cards including a simple fancy fold which featured the Elephant Parade stamps from the big catalogue- p.48.

We made a gatefold card, added some Like an Animal DSP, (p. 45 of the mini catalogue - see the sampler for this fabulous foiled paper).

The next card uses the Share a Milkshake bundle from Stampin’ Up! (P. 12 mini catalogue).  We did laugh as it was actually snowing on the Wednesday class - so not exactly seasonal, but I wanted to use it before the catalogue retires!

We made the embossing on the cone pop by adding Crumb Cake ink with a Blending Brush and finished the ice cream with Wink of Stella for extra sparkle.

The panels down the side are made using the Fine Shimmer paper from the mini catalogue p.15 - it is just gorgeous in real life and comes in 12X12 sheets.

The final project was made using the Amazing Year stamps from the big Stampin’ Up! Catalogue (p. 28) along with the Jar of Flowers stamps (p.95) and matching Jar punch p. 154.

We stamped the jar and then separately punched the jar in Vellum and overlaid it on the image to create the glass effect.

Watch the video below to see some tips for all these cards as well as how to adhere the vellum without it showing.

Online Exclusives - using them in your face to face Stampin' Up! business

What do you think about the new Online Exclusives? These are great for those demonstrators who sell largely online.  If you are like me with 99% of my sales are in person, how can you successfully share this great product offering?

Stampin' Up! have made the decision not to provide us with printables for these products other than the flyers to send customers online, so I have spent many hours putting together something for my customers, my team and if you would find it useful for you too.

I opted to group bundles and suites together so you can just print out one or two sheets to take to class if you are focusing on a particular product. I also included item codes and prices for simple ordering in class plus of course the prices for UK, USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand.

I also included a prompt to order from you and a couple of samples made using the products shown. I kept the background white - both to highlight the products AND to save your printer for wasting ink on a fancy background.

Now for the apologies: So far I have not done the non-English language options, but let me know if you would be interested in other languages and currencies and based on what I hear I will see if I can schedule in that work. I have not included kits and left out just one other small item due to layout constrictions - but everything else is there.

If you would like a set of 7 printables sharing 21 purchase options that you can take to class and share with your customers there is just a small charge of £4 - about $6.50 US for these sheets.

They print on BOTH A4 and US letter.   Click to order for just £4 and I will email them over to you.

If you want to see how I plan to use them in my Stampin' Up! face to face business you can watch a short video HERE.  I will go over some of the challenges and solutions in dealing with Online Only products to help you get the best from these offerings from Stampin' Up!

If we, (as I hope), find these printables helpful in increasing our sales, I will add more as we get more new products. Let me know how they are working for you!

Re-inker Technique Masterclass - 17 ways to use those re-inkers!

With what looks like the imminent announcement of a colour refresh, now is the perfect time to talk to our lovely customers about re-inkers. Having the re-inker to match each ink pad will massively extend its life - but there is SO much more we can do with our re-inkers.

To support you in sharing this, I have produced a new class that features 10 different techniques that use re-inkers PLUS a video highlighting 7 other times you will want a re-inker.

So that will give you 17 reasons to show your love for these useful items. You can include some in your class and encourage your customers to get the matching re-inker for their favourite colours.

Here is what is included in the class:

  • 10 techniques using Stampin' Up! Re-inkers
  • Step by step videos for each technique
  • A separate video showing 7 more reasons you need a re-inker
  • A teaching materials video featuring a couple of show and tell project ideas
  • A set up video for creating your memories and more technique file - plus some alternate ideas for you and your customers
  • Printable layout examples showing how to assemble samples and instructions in a memories and more folder if required.
  • Printable index sheet
  • Printable instructions for each technique – editable with no logos configured for both A4 and US letter versions AND 9 copies of one technique per sheet for easy class prep.

I have kept my class price to just £10, which is usually about $14 US  - but at the time of typing it is less due to current exchange rates.

If you would like to order the class for just £10 you can order securely on Paypal by clicking below and I will email your class to you.

I email as soon as I get your paypal notification - however if we are on other sides of the world I will send as soon as I wake up!

If you would like to know a little more about the class, I have a short trailer video here.

I really hope this class will help you with your Stampin’ Up! business.

If you are interested, you can see all the classes I have available HERE

**NOTE: Products used in this class were current at the time the class was designed. In many cases an alternative stamp/punch/die or DSP design will work for the projects**

Happy Valentines - with four project ideas featuring the Country Lane Floral Suite

I am just dropping in today to share four projects made using the Country Floral Lane suite from Stampin' Up! Although these projects are for Birthday, Thank you and Just a Note cards - they would all work as a Valentine's design.

The red card was heavily inspired by one my lovely team member Tracy McDonnell, (The Papercraft Studio) presented at OnStage.

To get the little flower heart on the blue card, I used the large heart flower stamp in Balmy Blue, then stamped over again with the Basic Grey heart and punched out using the matching Country Bouquet punch.

Here are the next two. The first shows the two-step stamping large heart from the Country Bouquet Suite and the second uses leaves and hearts to make a Just a Note wreath. Greetings are from the Go To Greetings stamp set.

Happy Valentines to you all and I will be back with my February class projects soon.

This Month's Class Projects - display projects and more!

Hello my fellow Stampin' Up! demos

Have you had a busy festive season? Did you miss that I had a fun new class available called Music and More that you can make and teach?

It features a theatre / graduation auditorium explosion box and lots more.

If you would like to see more - click here to find out all about it!

I am straight back in to regular classes with my lovely ladies and as well as teaching the classes, we had an after-class party following each one. So I have lots to share!

If you are on my monthly newsletter list, you will also have an exclusive show and tell video for all the class projects waiting in your email inbox. If you are not on my list and would like to join you can do so by clicking here.

So let's get on with with some project photos.

This fun fancy fold project was so much fun to make. I tried to work out the measurements on the video with dubious success. LOL! The ones I gave there will work but these will save extra cutting for my US letter friends.

A4 Thick Basic White  11 1/2 X 4 1/8 score at 3 3/4, 7 1/2 & 9 1/2   for the top piece

8 1/4 X 5 1/2

US Letter 11 X 4 1/4 score at 3 3/4 7 1/2 & 9 1/4 and for the top piece the same 8 1/4 X 5 1/2

We made this fun cascade card using the Two-Tone Flora stamps.

I don't usually teach two fancy folds in one regular class - but these were both very simple to make. I did use the Stamparatus though to speed things up with the two step stamping!

I always give some choice to my class ladies when it comes to Valentine cards, as not everyone will be sending one. With this card we did two lots of embossing as well as stamping - so lots of techniques were used.

From my display here are a few more of my projects. I did a couple featuring the the Share a Milkshake bundle. I love how the Country Gingham DSP went well with this set and used the cone die to make a cone full of hearts. I am really loving the Alphabet A La Mode dies as well as you can see!

Here is a card I showed that featured the Something Fancy dies - we used them in class on the cascade class too.

I think the sampler I made shows the versatility of this set.

I hope you like those projects and I will be back to share more in a couple of weeks!
